- Firmware version 2.
- Control Panel version 1.02.
Installation :
- Download the 2_HDJM_2004.dmg file.
- After opening the dmg file, you will see that it contains the Hercules DJ Console Installer.
- Launch the Hercules DJ Console Installer and follow on-screen instructions.
- Open the DJ Console Control Panel shorcut which is on your desktop. You will see that the Update Firmware button is active for you to update your DJ Console with the latest firmware.
- Click on the Update Firmware button. PLEASE CLOSE ALL OTHER PROGRAMS DURING THIS CRITICAL PROCESS. ESPECIALLY ALL MUSIC SOFTWARE.
- Wait for the firmware update to be finished.
- When the firmware update is finalized, you will get a "UPDATE FIRMWARE DONE WITH SUCCESS" message.
- Unplug/Replug your DJ Console and verify that the firmware version is now version 2.
Improvements :
- The DJ Console now supports 44.1KHz and 48KHz sampling rates.
Benefit :
- Hercules DJ Console Mac edition becomes compatible with Apple GarageBand software.
NOTE FOR MAC INTEL USERS :
In order for your DJ Console to work correctly on new MAC computer using Intel processors, be sure to apply MAC OS X update 10.4.6, which correct issues related to USB audio devices.
