ACHTUNG:
Ein Wechsel zu Windows Vista beeinflußt das Verhalten und die Funktionalität Ihrer Hercules Soundkarte. Für mehr Details, bitte hier nachlesen document.
Installationprozedur
1- Entfernen Sie alle vorhergehenden Treiberversionen.
2- Laden Sie die Treiber herunter
? Erstellen Sie einen Ordner für alle Hercules-Downloads: Rechtsklick auf den Windows Desktop, dann auf Neu/Ordner gehen und klicken.
? Nennen Sie den Ordner Hercules Downloads.
? Klicken Sie auf den Downloadlink.
? Eine Dateidownload Dialogbox erscheint. Speichern. klicken
? Eine Speichern unter Dialogbox erscheint. Wählen Sie den Hercules Downloads Ordner, den Sie vorhergehend erstellt haben, aus und klicken dann auf Speichern.
2- Nach beenden des Downloads klicken Sie auf die Installationsdatei (.exe) und befolgen die Bildschirmanweisungen zur Installation der Treiber.

With DLS soundbanks(Version 6.09):
for users who wish to use the cards hardware synthetiser and MIDI soundbanks features of the card for music production.
This version adds a tab in the control panel to customize the synth and MIDI settings.

Without DLS soundbanks (Version 6.09a) :
for most users.
The control panel doesn't feature the tab mentionned above.

Fixes:
- Corrected the AC-3 Digital output when using Power DVD.
- Fixed false detection of internet connection due to proxy server settings during the installation phase.
Pending bugs
These issues are known and will addressed in future releases.
- Minidisc mode is not functional for the Fortissimo II, under all Os. Workaround: manually mute all analog inputs.
FOR THE DLS "edition"
- New DLS sound banks can't be loaded under Win98 SE/ ME for all cards. The included default bank is fully functional
Installation Procedure
1- Remove any previous drivers version.
2- Download the drivers
· Create a central location for all your Thrustmaster accessories related downloads
· Right-Click your DESKTOP and select "NEW" and then "FOLDER"
· Name the folder "Hercules Downloads"
· Click on the hyperlink.
· A "File Download" dialogue box will appear
· Select the "SAVE" button
· A "Save As" window should appear
· Browse to the folder you created
· Select the "SAVE" button
3- Run the installation package and follow the instructions.
If you are running WINDOWS XP, make sure your network cable is physically disconnected from the computer and remains so until drivers are fully installed. This is to prevent Windows Update from simultaneously upgrading your drivers.
